Jose Rodriguez was found trapped underneath the unidentified car at The Horsepower Connection, an auto shop at 4019 NE Sixth Avenue, about 11 p.m., said Broward Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Veda Coleman-Wright. Paramedics took him to Broward General Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. Detectives are investigating, she said, as they do any unnatural death. Horsepower Connection, located in the industrial section of Oakland Park, has 10 years of experience in motor building, tuning, performance and suspension, according to it Web site. A call to the business was not immediately returned.
