My favorite stand alone sytems would be Wolf, AEM and Haltech.

I have seen you in action a few times and was not so sure of what degree of a tuner you are and for the way that some people spoke so ill and your ability to tune was questionable in my book until this post because i taught it was only eclipse rx7 and some supras with only wolf that you can. tune.

No fear here. I'm as real as it gets. Don't worry I speak my mind. The people that speak ill can say what they want. You can't please them all. You can't stop people from talking. All the tuners out there always have someone talking shit that they do this that way and that and blah blah blah.

Way back in the days when I was using a five bar MAP sensor and 1600cc injectors. I heard it all. Oh those injectors are too big, the car is too rich, you run too much boost etc. It was so simple. If you run alot of boost you will need a lot of fuel.

Victor, for what its worth high nines and a 9.0 is very far apart. How many guys can say they went 9.0 or better on this forum and I don't care if you had an eggshell with NASA propulsion devices. When you ran 9.7 Everyone showed you love, Myself, Josh, Boy, Sean, E-Spec etc. Victor your car is impressive. Don't think that we are not impressed with your car, but show a little love for each other.

Going 9.0 flat on any motor with a stock BLOCK, stock HEAD, stock CAMS. and running nines for the last 5 PLUS years on a junk yard motor is impressive in my book.

Winning the last import Event coming in first place is not only very impressive its a dream come true for any racer. Show some love. No need to try to take away someones happiness and shine.

When was the last time any haters won a major import event or ran 9.0 flat. Ralphie, you are the man in my book. Keep changing the oil and polishing the pipes.

Lets not hate but appreciate our fellow racers putting the 2jz on the map with junkyard stockers. Again another racer doing it for the imports with hard work, dedication and LOTS of polishing :D Lets not do the Kanye.

Wayne I'm not really trying to hate or discredit you and I did not know the car had a stock Junkyard motor, that makes it much more impressive but I still think the car can go faster, My motor has Titan Cams, Ferrea Springs & Retainers, Headstuds, Pistons, & Rods, in a junkyard Sc300 block and a factory head it's not some out of this world setup and I did that on NO SPRAY and less boost than I normally run. Dont get me wrong the car is fast and obviously it's consistent and safe if its been running that long I just think theres more left in it. I plan on going low 9's on boost in my car so I would like to see a back-halfed car that can cut much better than 1.56 60fts, and not have to shift go high 8's.

I apologize to you if you took my post the wrong way it was more of a post giving a reference to the times that car runs and the times other 2j cars run.

Either way good job to both you and the owner and builder of the car.

I dont think you're car is slow, just thought it had more work than it does apparently. As for catching up I'm caught up I'll run you head up in my mk3, or head up in my mk4 boost for boost no spray and then we'll see who needs to catch up to who. lol I've been spraying 7m's a 2js for a while I know the deal. The only difference with your car and Ralphie's is his coils fire sequential which is preferred on a coil on plug setup (93 2JZ). Your car came from the factory batch fired which seems to be working fine. No need to upgrade anything.

I was telling Josh that I don't think $2000 dollars is worth investing into his 7M Head at this point. He should instead use that money and buy a complete 2J.

I dont have any results on before and after exactly because when I ran a stock head I also ran a much smaller turbo. I've done quite a few fully built 7m heads (for more than 2k) and haven't had one complaint or any regrets yet. The 7m head is not a very high flowing head from factory, and also has very weak valve springs. Is it worth it in my opinion yes, is it needed I dont know I think once you get to a certain power level the stock 7m head will restrict you quite a bit. The results I'm sure are close to the same as doing a built head on a 2j, or 1jz etc. Comparing buying the head to buying a 2j is a bad comparison, if the 7m is holding up I wouldn't change it for a 2j just because I dont want a built head.

ok here is P-Spec 2 cents...I worked with a few 7Ms back in the days and all of the ones I did said they felt the difference when they used a ported and polished head. Speaking in general about heads; First, port and polish helps in both NA and boosted applications... remember an engine is a big air pump, so the more air you get in, the faster you get it in and out, the more power can make. Now many say the 2J doesn't need it, that's probably true due to the power making potential of the stock platform. But that doesn't mean it will not benefit from it, of course it will! With all things staying the same, here is where it gets tricky, your cams...but that will be a discussion for another time...I say port and polsihed your heads, three angle valve job a must for a street car. Just make sure the shop is giving you a flow port and not a match port. You will see improvements with that alone.

This is what the name of the next thread should read. Wayne has created some the most feared street and race cars out there this side of town.

Last night one of his creations, had 1 of the fastest 2jz supra power by a boost logic automatic transmission with nitrous running all over Queens hiding from a Mitsubishi conquest . Sources close to the M&S camp said the tuner of the supra Mike; crank the boost up with 28" drag radials and hurt the transmission. there was no official commit from that camp to verify those findings. How ever; sources from the Mitubi camp said they heard there was some altercation by John law and owner who could not drive his car. sources also said they saw the short migit like person trying to see over the steering wheel speeding NB on the conduit at high speeds trying to get away from lockup arrangements.

Many on looker at the scene said it is not surprising to them. every block you go on last night was popo on the strip was popo . sources also wandered who alerted the law.things like this happen all the time from some of the organisers who knows they bite more than they can chew. there is no official commit from the runners as yet..
